The 45th World Congress of Vine and Wine will be held in the French city of Dijon from 14 to 18 October, in coincidence with the hundredth anniversary of the International Organization of Vine and Wine (Oiv). The theme chosen for the “centenary congress” is “Vine and wine, an innovative heritage facing the challenges of the century” (“The vine and wine, an innovative heritage facing the challenges of the century”). The meeting will be attended by experts from all over the world who will discuss “the most pressing problems for the sector and the innovative solutions that can be implemented”. This year’s congress will be the largest since 2008, with 646 talks by experts from 45 different countries.
