Daniela Mastroberardino<\/strong> has been re-elected president of the National Association of Women in Wine<\/strong> for the three-year term 2026\u20132028. After her first term (2023\u20132025), the new Board unanimously renewed its confidence in her, recognizing her vision, leadership, and the work accomplished during these years of growth and transformation of the Association.<\/p>\n

A wine entrepreneur and ambassador of Campania and Italian wine culture, Daniela Mastroberardino, together with her brother, runs the Terredora Di Paolo<\/strong> company, a symbol of the promotion of native Irpinia grape varieties.<\/p>\n

\u201cA second mandate is not a starting point, but a moment of awareness<\/em> \u2013 declared Daniela Mastroberardino \u2013. It is time to acknowledge the progress we have made and to choose, with even greater responsibility, our future direction.”<\/em><\/p>\n

Alongside the president, the new National Council has reconfirmed the vice presidents Francesca Poggio<\/strong> (Piedmont, deputy), Marianna Cardone<\/strong> (Puglia), Paola Longo<\/strong> (Lombardy), and a diverse group representing the Italian wine industry in all its areas of expertise and territories: Roberta Urso (Sicily), Federica Cecchi (Tuscany), Maria Teresa Santaguida (Calabria), Dominique Marzotto (Sicily), Cristiana Cirielli (Friuli Venezia Giulia), Antonietta Mazzeo (Emilia Romagna), Floriana Risuglia (Lazio), and Lorella Di Porzio (Campania).<\/p>\n

The arbitrators were also elected: Romina Togn (Trentino Alto Adige), Marzia Morganti Tempestini (Tuscany) and Michela Guadagno (Campania).<\/p>\n

Over the past three years, Le Donne del Vino has experienced significant growth: from approximately 1,000 members in 2023 to 1,250 today. This evolution has broadened the Association’s profile, welcoming new professionals such as communicators, architects, lawyers, and marketing experts alongside producers, who are the core of the project, restaurateurs, sommeliers, and journalists.<\/p>\n

The new mandate begins at a delicate time for the wine sector, marked by a slowdown in consumption and profound cultural and social changes: “For this reason<\/em> ,” stated Daniela Mastroberardino, ” we feel an even greater responsibility to work on spreading a culture of conscious drinking, capable of reaching young people and investing in training as a tool for the future.”<\/em><\/p>\n

A commitment that translates into the development of the D-Vino Project<\/strong> , designed for students of Tourism and Hotel Management Institutes, with the aim of conveying the value of wine as a cultural heritage, an expression of territories, skills, and responsibilities.<\/p>\n

At the same time, the Association intends to address key issues such as sustainability, social responsibility, and the evolution of consumer styles.<\/p>\n

A look already projected towards 2028, the year in which the Association will celebrate 40 years since its foundation<\/strong> , a symbolic milestone that will mark a new stage in the association’s history.<\/p>\n
